Gears of War 2 offers at least 18x XP

    Rod Fergusson, producer of Gears of War 2, has promised to award XP to players during San Diego Comic Con (July 22-25)depending on the number of followers he has on Twitter.

    "Ok, here's my bribe," he writes on his Twitter account. "The SDCC XP event will be # of my followers divided by 500. So 4000 followers means 8x XP."

    At the moment, he has a shade over 9000 followers. Which means during San Diego Comic Con - get ready for this - we'll see at least 18x XP. Which is insane.

    It might be even higher than that. We'll keep you updated.

      All of these massive-amounts-of-XP weekends are presumably an effort to lure people back to the (presumably) fixed MP, in order to build up the masses for Gears 3.
